We continue our adventure with our little kitty Quinn becoming a space cadet.
They grow up so fast. Sniffle. Quinn has lost his man hood and can't seem to find it anywhere.
Good bye golf cart. My first craigslist sale. As is, where is, gone the next day.

THANKSGIVING ADVENTURE / BOAT SHOPPING
Jennifer's clan decided to have a family reunion in Florida this year so we decided to make a road trip out of it. We went by way of Maryland.
We have decided that we want to buy a 36 foot PDQ catamaran. Since we're not quite ready to buy we are doing a due diligence trip. Our goal is to look at several PDQ's and several other makes and models that are in our price range to make sure that IS what we want.
We left Friday the 16th after work and drove to Louisiana. One of my clients owns a casino that they put us up at. Very cool. We got up the next morning and had thanksgiving lunch with the tribe, meeting and greeting. This leg of the trip is officially a business expense. Yea Scott! After lunch and a tour of the trip, and ground breaking on the new tribal center we headed north.
We drove over night to Maryland and stayed with my sister Tracy and her daughter Tamara.

We had a good visit. Dinner, Visiting, Sleeping. All the necessities. All three boat's we wanted to see were sold the day before we arrived.
We are officially "leafers". During our trip south we drove through the entire season of leaves. Up north they were faded and falling. Down south they were still green. I'm embarrassed to admit it but I enjoyed watching them change.

After breakfast we headed south to Virginia where we stopped to see a client. Well actually I stopped to see a client. Jennifer sat quietly. I believe she watched with bated breath as she observed me working. I'm sure this was the highlight of her tip. Officially one more leg of the trip is a business expense. Yea Scott! Notice the theme.
After our meeting we headed south to Oriental, NC. Letter C on the map below was supposed to be another boat but again we got a call from the broker saying she was traveling south. Shot down again.
As we pulled in to the condo we got a call from the guy that was traveling. They were anchored in the harbor. They just had dinner in the restaurant and would pick us up at the dock in the morning before we went to look at other boats in the area.
So first thing in the morning we were picked up at the dock in a dink (short for Dingy). We motored out to the Dean and the couple that lived aboard showed us around.
After the Dean we looked at two more PDQ's then headed south.
We arrived in Stuart at dawn, exhausted and ready to call it a trip after we looked at two more boats.
So we camped out and made coffee. And frolicked in the Atlantic until our appointment at 9 am.
We looked at two Fountaine Pajot
Athena 38After the two Fountaine Pajot's, tired and beat, we decided to call it a day, but on the way out of the marina we checked and the Kelsall was only 2 blocks away.
Jennifer said she wants this one.
After boat shopping we went to Jennifer's family reunion.
