Accommodations and Layout

4 Cabins, 3 Heads. Sleeps 8. Spacious, light and airy with panoramic view from Salon; full standing headroom, plenty of hatches. The main salon is entered via a sliding glass door from the cockpit. u shaped Salon seating for 10 with and American ash fold down table. Nav station and a double settee on the stbd side. To the immediate port and stbd are 3 built in steps to enter hulls. Good headroom in passageways. The two identical forward cabins have a queen bed, vanity, dresser, 2 hanging lockers and ensuite heads.
The two aft cabins are double bed size and have one hanging locker and dresser. The main head is located stbd hull down has a Lavac head and SS sink plus a full size stand up shower stall. The galley, located port side down, has generous work space and a pass-through to the salon.

Features

Fiberglass over PVC foam core construction; watertight crash compartments forward in each hull; unsinkable by design.
Bottom previously sandlblasted, did a poor job and pitted some areas. 4 coats of epoxy/barrier coat applied , then 3 coats bottom paint. Several coats bottom paint since then.

Many enjoyable years of Island gunkholing left in this Kelly 42 Catamaran! Designed for cruising with 12 V system, watermaker and unsinkable closed cell foam/fiberglass construction. This hard deck cat has 4 staterooms, 3 heads, spacious galley and roomy salon. Other features include daggerboard, grounding shoes and retractable sonic drive engines.
